A new year brings exciting challenges, so what does 2022 hold in store for Boxer FM?
In this Question and Answers session Joe Broadway, our Managing Director, looks back at our achievements in 2021 and talks about the company’s plans going forward, such as; supporting charities, welcoming apprentices, and recruiting new staff as the company continues to grow from strength to strength.
What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
“2021 has been a very challenging but fun year, both personally and professionally, with assisting clients in welcoming their staff back into the workplace.
We started the year with a very busy January, welcoming new clients and developing relationships with well-established customers. We have made a concerted effort to support more charities and are really pleased to have welcomed The Lotus Sanctuary and The Alzheimer’s Society to our portfolio. We have added over 200 locations nationwide in our support to these fantastic organisations.”
What was your proudest moment in 2021 for Boxer?
“Supporting the graduation of our first ever apprentice has been a really proud moment for Boxer and has set the precedent for us welcoming more apprentices. Helping to get young people into work is definitely something we will look to do more of in the coming years.”
Did you achieve last year’s goals?
“Last year we recognised that we needed to increase head count in order to offer further support to managers, supervisors, all staff and clients. Recruitment in these roles is always challenging.
We have added some fantastic people, some of whom you will all have spoken to. We still have roles available, and the team will grow further in 2022.”
What is the total number of staff at the end of 2021?
“Amazingly, Boxer now has nearly 650 members of staff. This is set to grow even more in 2022.”
What is your biggest contractual win of 2021?
“We have won several large contracts in 2021, but also some which are smaller in turnover but no less important to us.
We are excited to add a wide range of clients in 2022 to our existing, broad client base.”
