virtual to reality
With over 650 staff managed by numerous Managers and Supervisors across the nation, communication can be tricky, especially when you throw in a pandemic to boot! We have all become very used to meeting virtually, in fact, having this technology available has been essential, not just in our business but in our every day lives. However, nothing is more beneficial, or even more fun, than actually being able to gather people in a conference room and meet with them face to face.
Finally, after 2 years, we have been able to do just that!
building the team spirit
This week we invited all of our Manager’s and Supervisor’s to a meeting held close to our Head Office in Bromsgrove. They came from far and wide. There were Manager’s attending that, even though having been employed by us for a couple of years, had not yet met other Manager’s due to Covid restrictions.
Being able to have everyone together in one room meant we could far easily pass on information and exchange experiences, and more importantly, build a stronger team spirit.
ISO to Wolf Run
We were able to easily relay our plans for 2022 which includes the introduction of new working practices which embrace technology, making life far easier for our administrative team. Cloud based systems not only increase productivity, they allow more control and transparency, mitigates our use of paper and helps support our ISO 14001 commitments.
We also discussed how else we can help people in our community and support charitable events and fund raisers, locally and nationally. We even managed to gain some volunteers for an upcoming Wolf Run event. This has now been documented so they can’t change their minds!

Being able to share best practices and new ideas in an open forum like this has been a long time overdue. As much as we have relied heavily on technology over the last couple of years, nothing beats the camaraderie of a team than when they are actually brought together.
We would like to thank everyone who attended for being part of the Boxer team and we look forward to seeing how we continue to develop and grow over the coming year.
